Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance

gpac is working with a well-established food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Director of Quality & Food Safety to lead all quality, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory programs across a high-volume production environment. This role oversees Quality, Sanitation, and Food Safety teams while driving a strong food safety culture and ensuring compliance with SQF, HACCP, FSMA, Kosher, Organic, GFCO, and additional regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead Quality, Food Safety, and Sanitation teams, providing strategic direction and daily oversight

Develop, implement, and maintain all quality, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory programs

Oversee SQF certification, HACCP systems, environmental monitoring, and internal audits

Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, R&D, and Warehousing to ensure process and product integrity

Manage investigations, non-conformances, and customer complaints with clear corrective actions

Support new products, new lines, and process validations (CQV)

Drive continuous improvement to elevate quality performance and ensure regulatory readiness

Proven leadership in food manufacturing quality & food safety

Expertise with SQF, HACCP, FSMA, and related regulatory programs

Strong communication, audit readiness, and cross-functional collaboration skills
