CDL- Feed Driver (Nights)

Commercial Driver

Prestage Farms is seeking a reliable and safety-minded Commercial Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for safely transporting feed to and from the feed mill during night-shift operations. If you're a responsible driver with a strong work ethic and a Class A CDL, we want to hear from you! This is a local, full-time position averaging 55-60 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport feed to and from the feed mill
• Perform accurate daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain cleanliness of tractor and trailer inside and out
• Load and unload trucks at assigned destinations
• Ensure compartments are clean and tarps are properly secured before loading
• Collect required ingredient samples
• Accurately complete all delivery forms and return documentation
• Follow all company safety rules, policies, and DOT regulations
• Adapt to unexpected situations such as traffic delays, weather, or route changes
• Ability to lift / move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
