Job description

Must be willing to relocate or live near one of these Locations :

  • Scranton, PA Princeton, NJ Richmond, VA New Haven, CT Reno, NV Pay $100k-135k DOE Long term career opportunity with growth THIS IS A HIGHER EDUCATION PROJECT / Data Center / Vertical construction Desired candidates will be able to demonstrate : Responsible team membership : commitment to the Project team, participation with company expectations, dedication to improving the safety culture throughout the business unit.

Successful candidates must demonstrate the following experience and / or capabilities :

  • Perform regular job site inspections to identify, document and recommend mitigation of hazardous / potentially hazardous conditions and verify correction actions have been completed.
  • Support incidents investigations to include interviews, data compilation, photographs and completing proper documentation.

    • Evaluate various planning / permits such as :

  • Hot Work, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Excavation, Steel Erection, Energized Work, Pre-cast Tilt-Up as examples for effective and appropriate mitigation techniques.
  • Industrial Hygiene principles and techniques involved in Hearing conservation, Lasers, Silica, Asbestos, Lead work, as examples.
  • Understanding of fire protection, flammable / combustible materials storage / management.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA Regulations The preceding experience and capabilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position.
  • This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the needs of the site and safety / field management varying by location, within the business unit.

    • Preferred Education & Certifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Environmental Health and Safety Related field  Safety Professional Certification  BCSP, GCP, or ASP CHST OSHA 500 MUST BE ABLE TO PASS : Background & MVR check Drug screen - saliva PERKS : Car allowance Gas Card Strong benefits Our client is an EEOC Employer and encourages all minority groups to apply.
