POSITION SUMMARY :

This position is responsible for assessing client physical and mental health needs, planning of any medical interventions that might be needed for inclusion in the treatment plan, health education, advocacy, medication monitoring and the overall surveillance and maintenance of the health needs of staff and clients. The incumbent in this position will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate medication storage / security, including up-to-date MAR and up-to-date written and verbal record keeping, as well as communication with other staff regarding clients' medical conditions and medication needs.
