Created for upcoming Junior and Senior college students, our full-time (40 hours / week), 12-week programs are designed to provide hands-on experience within your area of interest. Location :   Retail Management is open to any of our geographic areas in KY, VA, TN, GA, or AL

Description :  We are seeking a motivated and responsible intern to support the daily operations of a retail store in the role of Assistant Store Manager. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn the fundamentals of retail management, leadership, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. The intern will work closely with the Store Manager and department heads to ensure smooth store operations, maintain inventory levels, and uphold company standards in service, safety, and compliance. A key part of the role involves learning how to manage labor costs, participate in hiring decisions, and enforce company policies related to safety, loss prevention, and regulatory compliance. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as the intern will be expected to interact with associates, customers, and management daily. They will help resolve customer concerns, support fund-handling procedures, and ensure proper handling of age-restricted products. In addition, interns are assigned a project and expected to complete a final presentation summarizing their work and share their insights with company leaders at the conclusion of the internship.

Program Requirements :

• Currently enrolled in a college or university as a Junior or Senior, majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a relevant field of study.
• Recently graduated with an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a relevant field of study.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA, cumulative.
• Have strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of company information.
• Ability to work with own initiative.
