The Rope Access Technician will perform and / or assist NDT Technicians in performing non-destructive Testing of materials. Part Time with potential to go Full Time based on business needs. The successful candidates must be willing to travel out of town on a periodic basis.

Job Duties :

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment under the supervision of the Certified Technician.
• Assist or perform, NDT Technicians in performing required inspection.
• Assist or perform, Radiographers in performing radiography of Piping and Equipment.
• Assist or perform, with proper documentation and reporting of inspection results.
• Become familiar with required codes and procedures to carry out testing.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements :

This position may work in various locations within the U.S. Some locations may be subject to extreme temperatures, working in high places, etc. Potential for exposure to temperature changes, wetness, confined spaces, fumes / odors, working with ladder / scaffolds, working with pressurized equipment, high places, hazardous materials, and working alone. HMT will supply adequate training and equipment to meet the functions of the job.
