WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Albany, NY. The weekly pay for this position is $2,300 a week.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

4x10 : 7am - 5 : 30pm.

Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.

Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

Educates patients on surgical procedures ƒ Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.

Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.

Job Requirements :

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing  (BSN).

Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).

2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab is required.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
