Job description

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re hiring a Web Developer for a remote opportunity with a small eCommerce company.

In this role, you’ll contribute to both front-end and back-end development, support internal operations through help desk tools, and troubleshoot web order issues. This is an exciting chance to work across the full development stack, leverage both legacy and modern technologies, and play a critical role in the success of a growing business.

Candidates must have experience with both front-end and back-end development, as well as ASP Classic, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and responsive design.

There is no application deadline for this role.

Web Developer Responsibilities :

Proficiently executing back-end web development coding.

Providing internal support in help desk ticket center.

Monitoring and resolving web order errors.

Supporting projects, tasks, and other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Web Developer Qualifications :

Associate’s Degree and 2 years related experience.

Computer competency in all key Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, image editors, etc.

Knowledge in the following : SQL, ASP Classic, ASP.NET, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JS.

Experience using T-SQL with an ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures.

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

Comprehensive knowledge of PCI-DSS and PCI standards requirements.

Ability to work independently and within a team setting.

Ability to work in a virtual environment.
