Physician / Hospitalist / New York / Permanent / Hospitalist Job

Locum Hospitalists need near Mount Vernon, NY to pick up shifts on a PRN basis.

• BC / BE Internal or Family Medicine
• Schedule : 7a-7p & 7p-7a
• Acute Hospital
• Hospital Beds : 35
• Open ICU w / 6 Beds
• Average Day / Night Census : 20
• Average Day / Night Admits : 3
• Shift responsibilities : All unassigned admissions and covering ICU w / Tele-ICU Back-up
• Hospitalist will respond with RRT and responsible for running codes.
• No Procedures; Central Line Insertion is a plus
• # Day Providers : 1 MD, 1 APP
• # Night Providers : 1 MD
• EMR : All Scripts - Plan to switch to Epic 6 / 2024
• Active MI License, DEA, ACLS Required
• Credentialing Timeframe : 60 days
• $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
