About The Position
Job Description :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Medical Director to lead a Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team located in West Michigan.
Responsibilities :
Provide physician leadership and oversight for the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) service line.
Collaborate with Administrative and Clinical Directors for Women’s & Children’s Services in a dyad leadership model.
Work alongside OB / GYN Medical Directors across multiple locations.
Oversee the MFM service line to ensure high-quality care for complex maternal fetal cases.
Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with high-risk pregnancies, including diagnostic, consultative, and management services.
Coordinate care with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists.
Develop and enhance the MFM program through clinical and administrative leadership.
Achieve goals in quality, service excellence, colleague engagement, stewardship, and financial performance.
Provide education and mentorship to medical students and residents.
Offer a broad scope of OB / GYN services, including :
Prenatal and high-risk obstetrics care
da Vinci® robotic surgery
Infertility evaluations
Menopausal care and hormonal treatment
Pelvic pain diagnosis and treatment
Pelvic reconstruction and urinary incontinence treatment
Well-woman care (annual exams, pap smears)
Abnormal pap smear evaluation and treatment
Endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain management
Laparoscopic surgeries (e.g., hysterectomy, endometrial ablation)
Natural family planning and fertility evaluation
Breast condition diagnosis and treatment
Use of state-of-the-art technology including the da Vinci Surgical System
Pre-conception to post-natal obstetrical care
Deliveries and on-site ultrasounds
Support from OB nurse educators and certified lactation counselors
Perinatal mood disorder screening and counseling
Hormone therapy and alternatives for menopause management
Diagnosis and treatment of uterine fibroids, osteoporosis
Correction of bladder, rectal, vaginal, and uterine prolapse
Treatment of abnormal bleeding and breast disorders
Cervical procedures and hysterectomy

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Credentials Required :
Board Eligible (to become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming Board Eligible) or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Board Eligible (to become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming Board Eligible) or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Minimum - 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine medical practice experience
2 years of experience in a leadership role or has completed training specific skills to work in the position
MI license (or willing to obtain)
DEA (or willing to obtain)
BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain)
