Nights, with 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, and holiday rotation.

Unit Overview :
Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll engage with a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Patients undergoing cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Care for hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, alongside medical overflow cases.Experience the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care as part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) .
Your Role :
Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and therapeutic care.Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to enhance patient outcomes.Contribute positively to the patient experience across care settings.Qualifications :
Registered Nurse license required; BLS certification from the American Heart Association.Completion of an accredited nursing program.At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.Skills Needed :
Ability to deliver holistic patient care with a patient and family focus.Competence in recognizing and responding to changes in patient conditions.Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical record systems.Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Commitment to quality improvement and professional development.Physical Requirements :
