Grounds Worker

Location : Harrisburg, PA

Shift : First

Wage : $18.50

Metz Environmental Services has great new opportunities in your area! We are hiring for a Grounds Worker. We are a family-owned and operated company focused on providing a high level of service to the community we serve, all while doing our best to have fun. Responsibilities of this position include

  • Maintain the campus grass by using ride-on mowers and push mowers
  • Complete athletic field maintenance following set standards
  • Maintain outer premises by landscaping and cleaning entrances
  • Plow and shovel snow according to a designated snow removal plan
  • Salt sidewalks, drive paths, and parking lots
  • Upkeep and cleaning of all maintenance and school vehicles
  • Other department tasks as assigned

    • Requirements include

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures
  • Ability to operate lawn and snow care equipment
