Join to apply for the MES Architect role at Kaleidoscope Innovation Job Title : MES Consultant – Semiconductor Industry Location : Milpitas, California Job Type : Full-time | Experience Level : 6–8 Years | Industry : High-Tech / Semiconductor Manufacturing About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled MES Consultant with 6–8 years of experience in implementing and optimizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within the semiconductor industry. The role requires a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the ability to align MES solutions with business and production goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and support MES implementation projects across semiconductor fabs and assembly / test facilities. Analyze current manufacturing processes and recommend MES-driven improvements. Integrate MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, and other enterprise systems. Configure MES workflows, data models, and user interfaces to meet operational needs. Collaborate with IT, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless MES adoption. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements post-deployment. Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and training materials. Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO, SEMI, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 6–8 years of hands-on experience with MES platforms (e.g., Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Production Center, Camstar, Cimetrix, Applied SmartFactory, FabTime, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (front-end and / or back-end). Experience with system integration (ERP, PLCs, SCADA, IoT). Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages, and data analysis tools. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and digital transformation initiatives. Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and semiconductor yield management. Project management or Agile / Scrum certification. Experience with cloud-based MES or hybrid architectures.
