Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic programs to help residents achieve their highest level of independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and overall quality of life. The OT will collaborate closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized, holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide engaging occupational therapy interventions to enhance functional skills and independence.
• Document progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to support the achievement of resident goals.
• Participate in care conferences and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
