2 years of emergency room experience

Description : Start date is ASAP.

Shifts are Friday through Sunday, from 1900 to 0700.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.

Preferred certifications include TNCSS and TNS.

Candidates must have experience in an emergency department setting.

Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.

Patient ratios on days are 4, and 5 during nights and weekends.

The facility has an average daily census of 120 patients.

Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.

Patient care spans all age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The ED sees patients with various diagnoses but does not admit pediatric or psychiatric patients.

Required skills include managing acute conditions, trauma response, and emergency medication administration.

Call requirements and float assignments are not applicable.

Preferred experience includes level II trauma center and travel nursing.

RNs must provide supervisor references upon offer acceptance.

All candidates must hold a valid state nursing license.

Latex allergies cannot be accommodated.
