A Mental & Behavioral Health organization is seeking a dedicated Team Lead for our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing our team of Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) while also managing a small caseload.

The Team Lead will ensure the effective delivery of medication management and psychiatric evaluations for our clients, upholding the highest standards of patient care and adherence to best practices in mental health treatment.

Responsibilities :

• Clinical Leadership : You'll be a clinical expert, providing guidance and support to your team on patient care matters, and collaborating with our providers and clinical supervisors.
• Team Management : You'll be responsible for the performance and development of your team, including performance evaluations, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Patient Care : You'll be directly involved in patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
• Quality Improvement : You'll play a role in identifying and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Research and Education : You'll stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in your specialty, and you may be involved in teaching and mentoring other healthcare professionals.
• Collaboration : You'll work closely with others to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to patient care.
• Communication : You'll communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring clear and accurate information sharing.
• Documentation : You'll maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements : Qualified clinicians will have an advanced practice nursing degree (PMHNP) and be licensed in New Jersey as a nurse practitioner or CNS as per N.J.A.C. 10 : 37D-2.13(a) 2. Nurse practitioners must also have a state controlled substance(CDS)andDEAnumbers.

A minimum of 5 years experience as a PMHNP.

Preferred experience in supervisory role.
