Adventure Medics is a rapidly growing organization based in Bend, Oregon. We are looking for a Critical Care Paramedic or Nurse with EMS Certification to join our Critical Care ground transport team.

Starting Pay Rate : $48-$50 per hour DOE

- Unique sprint car program where CC personnel are assigned a sprint vehicle so they can quickly respond to Critical Care calls in the Central OR area. They can arrive bedside early as the next available ambulance meets them on site or take a dedicated critical care ambulance

The following list contains the daily operations and responsibilities of the Critical Care Provider position.
Attend morning Safety BriefingsDaily readiness checks and addresses issues with transport equipment and supplies as neededProvide Critical Care emergency services during transportCoordinate and communicate with medical facilities and DispatchAdminister medications and use specialized medical equipmentMonitor and assess the patient's condition throughout the TransportPerform life-saving interventions when necessaryDocument all care provided during transport for medical recordsParticipate in ongoing training and simulation exercisesEnsure medical equipment and supplies are well-maintained and stockedAssist in patient loading and unloading with safety always a priorityWork closely with EMT's and fellow Paramedics to ensure the overall safety of the missionShared administrative duties including but not limited to QA / QI program, Training / FTO program, and protocol auditing and creationCommunity Partner OutreachActive role with various internal and external committees and meetingsSupervision of BLS and ALS providers and documenting performance evaluationsAssisting with interviewing, onboarding, and training new hiresDeveloping and maintaining relationships with vendors and partnersCritical Care Qualifications and Skills :
Previous experience in air medical or critical care transportAdvanced certifications such as FP-C or CCP-C, CCEMT, CFRNSkills in crisis resource management, and ability to intervene in stressful situationsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesFamiliarity with ambulance transport, medical equipment and protocolsPhysical fitness to manage the demands of the jobCertified Paramedic with a current license in the stateMinimum of 3-5 years' experience in emergency medical servicesAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificationTrauma certification such as PHTLS or ITLSAbility to work irregular hours and in various weather conditionsStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsCapability to work in challenging environments and mitigate possible austere medical situationsClean driving recordApplication
The pay range for this role is :
