Logistics Underwriter

A company is looking for a Logistics Underwriter to join their team. Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate insurance applications to determine acceptance or decline based on underwriting guidelines Document underwriting files, including risk analysis and pricing justification, and ensure compliance with industry regulations Collaborate with the underwriting team to process applications efficiently and provide client recommendations to mitigate risks Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum 3 years of Logistics or Transportation underwriting experience required Professional certifications such as CPCU, CIC, or CRIS are a plus Experience with various coverages including GL, Workers Comp, and Inland Marine Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
