Base pay range $105,000.00 / yr - $125,000.00 / yr Job Responsibilities : Working with project managers on all aspects of a project from bid through project close out. Assisting in bidding out projects to subcontractors, estimating for self-performed work, and preparing proposals. Generate simple estimates and change orders. Assisting project manager with prime contract and issuing subcontracts. Integral part of the construction team, working on submittals, change orders, RFI’s, project documents, project meetings, invoicing owner, reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices, and overall project processes. Review and perform minor schedule updates. Work with superintendent on a daily basis to resolve conflicts, maintain schedule, and perform quality control. Manage punch list. Oversee closeout process. Liaison between office and field. Participate in trade shows and industry organizations. Desired Skills and Experience : Bachelor’s degree with a preference in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a project engineer. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Project. Good understanding of all trades including MEP. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Client-centered approach with a focus on customer development and satisfaction. Possess a “do whatever it takes” attitude. Creative thinker who is willing to think outside the box to achieve client goals. Autonomous individual who enjoys working with a team.
