Laboratory Assistant

Location : St. Petersburg, FL 33716

Shift : Tuesday–Saturday | 4 : 00 AM–12 : 30 PM OR 5 : 00 AM–1 : 30 PM

Our client in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Lab Associate to join their dynamic, fast-paced lab environment. This is a great contract opportunity with one of the most stable, innovative, and growing organizations in the veterinary diagnostics industry.

• ? What You’ll Be Doing
• Performing laboratory analyses and running diagnostic test protocols
• Processing specimens & retrieving / releasing test results
• Supporting instrument testing for new / existing products
• Managing inventory and maintaining overall lab cleanliness
• Handling data entry, recordkeeping & administrative support
• Assisting with scheduling, shipping, and customer service activities

✅ Must-Haves

• Ability to read & follow SOPs, MSDSs, safety rules
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office; SAP is a plus)
• Comfortable being on your feet & lifting up to 25 lbs
• Willingness to work with biological specimens (blood, urine, fecals, biopsies)

⭐ Strong Nice-to-Haves

• Prior laboratory or diagnostic experience
• Background in Biology, Vet Tech, Vet Assisting
• Experience in high-volume environments
