We are looking for an experienced Storage Engineer to join our team in New York, New York, where you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our enterprise storage solutions. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in NetApp systems and Python scripting to ensure secure, efficient, and high-performing storage infrastructure across global regions. Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and standardize enterprise storage solutions across global regions to meet business needs.
- Manage and optimize NetApp storage systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage system issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to align storage strategies with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate project scopes, identify IT risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvements and innovation in storage service delivery and automation.
- Maintain secure practices for compute, storage, and systems administration while adhering to compliance standards.
- Support storage protocols such as NFS, iSCSI, and FC, ensuring effective data protection strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in enterprise storage engineering.
- Proven expertise with NetApp storage systems, including SnapMirror and SnapVault.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Strong knowledge of storage protocols such as NFS, iSCSI, and FC.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments.
- Experience supporting storage infrastructure in financial services or trading environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
