Stores Attendant B-A
Assist the Material Services organization by performing duties related to material accountability, operation of the storeroom and storage yards.

Stores Attendant B :
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of one year work experience in inventory control and management, material handling, warehousing, or related experience is required.
Must possess basic computer skills to use inventory management software such as Maximo; Microsoft Excel and Word experience is also preferred.
Must have sufficient knowledge and skills to perform the duties and / or responsibilities listed above and also have the physical capabilities to perform the required work.
Must possess a strong working knowledge of logistics related to shipping and relocating inventory.
Must understand and perform basic math functions.
Must be able to work independently and possess good communication skills.
Must be able to safely lift up to 70 pounds; successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT) is required.
Must possess the appropriate State drive license. If a Commercial Drive License (CDL) is required, the incumbent must obtain the CDL within six months of entry into this job classification or vacate the current job classification.
Must be able to operate material handling equipment including motorized forklifts and road vehicles.
Stores Attendant A :
High school graduate or GED.
Must have satisfactorily performed the duties of Stores Attendant B for a minimum of 24 months.
Must meet all vehicle operation requirements as designated by federal and / or state law. In addition, the incumbent may be required to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Must have satisfactorily performed the duties of Stores Attendant B for a minimum of 24 months.
Must have a good working knowledge of all Material Services instructions and procedures as they apply to regular job responsibilities and must qualify through demonstration and a written examination.
Must have demonstrated ability to keep neat, concise, and accurate records.
Must meet all vehicle operation requirements as designated by federal and / or state law. In addition, the incumbent may be required to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Must be able to operate stores material handling equipment and road vehicles.
Must be able to safely lift and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.
A Physical Ability Test is also required.
Drive Time Requirement :
Successful candidate must live or be willing to relocate within 45 minutes of the Chillicothe Transmission Service Center (1160 Eastern Ave. Chillicothe, Ohio 45601)

Compensation Range : $26.60 - $34.80
The Physical Demand Level for this job is : H Heavy Work : Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
