Description
- Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
- Ensure all food dishes / Catering adhere to company standards and expectations
- Oversee purchasing for all Food Menu items
- Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- Ensure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately
- Price menu items in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
- Assists the General Manager with the recruiting and hiring of Kitchen Crew and Utility Staff.
- Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
- Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff
- Oversee the work of subordinates
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between teammates
- Other duties may be assigned by the department head

Qualifications
Ability to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner.2-4 years restaurant kitchen experience.Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager or Restaurant ManagerFamiliarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulationsExcellent organizational skillsConflict management abilitiesAbility to manage a team in a fast-paced work environmentResponsible and trustworthyAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
