Dimensional Inspector

Job Title : Dimensional Inspector Location : Orrville, OH Job Type : Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm Salary : Based on Experience Key Responsibilities : Conduct thorough dimensional inspections utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Measure and evaluate geometric tolerances against detailed specifications. Interpret complex blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) data effectively. Accurately document inspection results and communicate findings to ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly. Maintain inspection equipment and ensure compliance with all safety and quality protocols. Qualifications : High School Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience in dimensional inspection; or an Associate's Degree (or higher) with at least 1 year of experience. Proficiency in using dimensional hand tools and a solid understanding of inspection techniques. Certification in Visual Testing (VT) or Penetrant Testing (PT) is a significant advantage and will be compensated accordingly. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Local candidates are preferred; however, we welcome applicants who may require per diem and are open to relocating after an initial period.
