Position Details :

• Inpatient, hospital-based setting
• Responsibilities include rounding, consults, and postoperative care
• No OR / First Assist or procedural work required
• Must have a basic understanding of acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies, ICU care, neurosurgical elective procedures, and postoperative management
• Estimated 240 hours in a 6-week schedule with weekend shifts
• Weekend coverage required every 4th week
• No on-call duties
• Expected to see an average of 10 patients per day
• EMR System : eCare / Cerner
• Facility : Level 1 Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke designation
• APP will work autonomously with an off-site supervising physician available on-call 24 / 7
• No new graduates will be accepted
• Required procedure : Simple suture for minor laceration repair
• Patient demographics : Ages 0-99
