Job descriptionAll of the patient care responsibilities of a staff PT Act as a mentor to newly hired clinical staff Participate in all staff meetings including taking an active role in planning and presenting Play a role in determining and addressing the community needs for services Develop and complete training of support staff Meet with the practice manager on a monthly basis Establish and maintain a list of community partners who refer to BSM Suggesting new clinic equipment needs with an evidence-based usage case
The main distinction is leadership and clinical specialization. OCS is highly valued in this position, but not required. BSM has a path to completion. of OCS. The Senior staff PT is a team leader responsible for the productivity, career development, and growth of their assigned support staff. Senior Staff PTs.
- Two or more years of experience as a Staff Physical Therapist is desired
- Demonstrate adequate experience mentoring new clinical staff
- Demonstrate adequate experience in supporting Staff Physical Therapist Assistant and Exercise Specialist training
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing patient scheduling
- Experience as a clinical instructor for at least two clinical affiliating students
- Extensive advanced clinical education completed for career development
- Develop advanced knowledge, focus, community relations, or specialization
