Responsibilities :

• Perform all responsibilities outlined in the Nurse / Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist roles.
• Provide clinical and administrative support for the team while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and track X-ray orders to ensure prompt completion and submission.
• Assist patients with proper positioning during exams for optimal diagnostic quality.
• Conduct activities in compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining knowledge of HIPAA and health information management issues.
• Review images for initial reading by the provider and send final images to the Radiology group for over-reading.
• Ensure correct labeling of all images and confirm proper technique usage during exams.
• Address minor maintenance issues with X-ray equipment and consult with the nurse coordinator or Clinic Director as needed.
• Monitor equipment condition in the X-ray room and report any issues to the Imaging Director.
• Distribute pregnancy waiver forms when necessary.
• Triage patients by recording vitals and collecting clinical history for proper charting.
• Perform minor nursing tasks such as blood draws and injections when not engaged in imaging activities.
• Maintain awareness of X-ray badge usage and reporting as required.
• Welcome new employees and facilitate their introductions, providing an overview of clinic procedures.
• Support new employee training through job shadowing and coaching.
• Foster friendly relationships with all team members and clients to maintain a positive workplace atmosphere.

Experience Requirements and Preferences :

Education Requirements :

High School Diploma or its equivalent required.

License Requirements :

Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Full Scope X-Ray Technologist State License.
