About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 3-6 months of on-the-job experience to gain knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and routines required.

License : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.

Certifications : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Must-Have : Strong written and verbal communication skills to accurately relay recommendations to the patient care team.

Description :

Schedule : 6 : 45 p.m. - 6 : 45 a.m., three nights a week with rotating holiday coverage and every third weekend.

Education : Associate's of Science Degree with certificate in Respiratory Care required.

Bachelor's of Science Degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care preferred.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) within 12 months of accepting the Advanced Practitioner position required.

Respiratory Care Practitioner license for work state required.

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.

Requires a high degree of ability and skill in written and verbal communication to accurately relay appropriate and high-quality recommendations to other members of the patient care team.
