Public & Project Finance Associate Attorney to join its expanding practice in
Denver (link removed) This is a unique opportunity to work on complex finance transactions involving public and private infrastructure projects across multiple industries, including renewable energy, housing, health care, education, and water / sewer facilities.
Candidate Profile :
from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Bar Admission in Colorado , in good standing.
25 years
of substantive experience in
public finance ,
project finance , or other
finance transactions (link removed)>
Familiarity with public and project finance
documentation
and / or
tax equity structures (link removed)>
Experience handling complex financial transactions, including
deal structuring
closings (link removed)>
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent client-facing skills and a proactive approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities :
Represent borrowers, developers, investment banks, investors, issuers, and lenders
in public and project finance transactions.
Draft and negotiate finance documents , including bond purchase agreements, loan agreements, and disclosure documents.
Advise clients on deal structures, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
Manage transaction closings, ensuring all legal and financial requirements are met.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop innovative financing solutions for infrastructure projects.
Participate in marketing and business development initiatives , including client engagement and industry conferences.
