Electrical Foreman

EGC Construction, a subsidiary of Messer Construction Co., is currently seeking an Electrical Foreman to join the team.

EGC employs more than 120 skilled craft workers that focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. We offer general, commercial and industrial construction including electrical work, millwrights, pipe fitters and structural steel detailers.

What You Will Do :

• Mentor and help grow craft workers
• Manage contract administration (subcontract / field management meeting for communication)
• Review, approve and negotiate change orders
• Maintain daily activities for record keeping purposes
• Oversee and approve the month job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
• Read and interpret single line diagrams, elementary drawings and P&ID’s
• Installation of raceways : Cable tray, Wire way and Rigid conduit
• Instrumentation and Control wiring and / or tubing.
• C1D1 and intrinsically safe wiring methods.
• Perform planned maintenance, inspection and installation on process and production equipment.
• Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards and protect self and others.
