Job Title : Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Park DuValle Community Health Centers. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health care to diverse patient populations, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide psychotherapy and medication management as needed.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs.

Skills :

  • Proficient in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.

    Requirements

    Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health.
  • Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Valid state nursing license and prescriptive authority.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
