Weekend Requirement : Yes

Floating : Within hospital as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

BSN required

Minimum 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU nursing experience

BLS and NRP certifications required (AHA)

PALS and STABLE certifications preferred

Epic charting experience preferred

Previous charge nurse and Level I Trauma Center experience preferred

Ability to float within the hospital (may float to pediatric floors with PALS)

Pending Oregon RN license accepted (must have application submitted)

References required

No background or license hits accepted

NICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver expert, compassionate care to neonates and infants in a 46-bed Level 4 NICU

Manage critically ill, convalescing, and growing premature and term newborns

Utilize advanced NICU equipment and procedures, including HFOV, Bubble CPAP, conventional ventilators, and therapeutic hypothermia

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including pediatric specialists

Participate in the education of nursing students and pediatric residents in a teaching hospital environment

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Provide family-centered care and support for patients and their families

Float to other units as needed based on hospital requirements
