About The Position
We are seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Wyoming, starting Feb 23, 2026, for 42 days. This opportunity offers day shifts (7a-7p), with a flexible schedule of 7-14 shifts per month, typically worked as 7 on / 7 off rotations. The client is focused on finding the right long-term fit for their acute care and ICU teams.

Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate closely with the Emergency Department and support the attending hospitalist throughout shiftsParticipate in patient management for an open ICU, including vent management, central lines, and intubationWork with the ER for airway emergencies; ER manages Code Blue and code proceduresManage trauma admissions in a trauma facilityCoordinate care with dedicated COVID wing and teamAccess consults in nephrology, tele-ICU (critical care / pulmonary), tele-psych, and radiology (including Nighthawk coverage)Assist with patient transfers for advanced heart failureDocument patient care using Cerner EMRAdditional Information
Inpatient & acute care experience requiredMust hold a Wyoming NP licenseThe assignment is open to advanced practice cliniciansBenefits
