• State of the art 25,000 sq ft hospital equipped with the latest veterinary technology , including two digital radiography suites, 64-slice CT, MRI, a Varian TrueBeam Edge radiation machine, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, digital cytology, an interventional surgical suite, multiple ultrasounds, and the only hemoperfusion unit in DFW.

Cases

Our ER will strive for the highest level of triage care in DFW

Doctors will have the ability to transfer appropriate cases to our specialty departments the next day

We intend to serve all emergency cases from minor routine to critical ailments

We anticipate a large population of our cases to be current VCA Dallas patients

ER doctors will have the opportunity to perform a variety of emergent surgical procedures and will have the support of three board-certified surgeons

Compensation

Up to $180,000 base salary. Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials.

Qualifications

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent

Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas or the ability to obtain

A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
