Venteon is currently seeking an Accounting Manager-Controller to fill an opening with an established general company located in Canton, MI.

Requirements of the Accounting Manager-Controller

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in an engineering, architecture, or professional services firm preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and project-based accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Quick Books) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction and engineering.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
