Job Skills / Requirements IPSC is hiring unarmed security guards to work in Lake City. Pay is $16 / hour, paid weekly. Must be 25 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Schedule : Days to be discussed in interview. 12 : 30pm-11 : 30pm Full-time & part-time positions available. Candidates must meet the following requirements : Have a clean criminal background, have good hygiene and be well groomed, own reliable transportation and have an active phone number, be able to stand for long periods of time, perform routine foot patrols, and do moderate lifting, have unexpired driver's license / ID and social security card, or be able to provide acceptable forms of ID for I-9 purposes, have a positive attitude and good work ethic, if current law enforcement, must have current POST certification, if prior military, must provide DD-214

• MUST HAVE a current and valid Florida unarmed security officer license to be considered for a position. This is a driving patrol position. Physical and Mental Job Requirements : Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency. A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances. A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his / her duties if required. A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.) A Security Officer must be able to : Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit. A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required. A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency. A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed. Reasonable accommodations to the above will be considered and offered, when possible.
