Concrete Laborer

Location :   Kansas City, KS

Pay :   $19-21hr

Schedule :

  • Monday-Friday 7am-3 : 30 pm

Responsibilities

  • Work under direct supervision to learn skills such as setting up forms, laying mesh, tying reinforcing bars, and cleaning up.
  • Show consistent improvement in these skills.
  • Stay productive throughout the workday, either performing tasks or informing the Crew Leader of availability.
  • Attend work regularly and on time.
  • Demonstrate loyalty and respect towards the company and colleagues.
  • Work as a team player and seek ways to improve work processes.
  • Maintain plant safety according to the Safety Manual and Safety Coordinator's direction.

    • Qualifications

  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to consistently produce a quality product
  • Ability to learn new skills based upon customer requirements
  • Ability to calculate area and volume
  • Ability to apply basic concepts of geometry
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Manual lifting requirements are to moderate to heavy at times, but with the assistance of other personnel and hoisting equipment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
