About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Brand Strategy with a strong background in pharmaceutical advertising or marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of foundational brand strategies, including core brand positioning, value propositions, and strategic messaging platforms for product launches and inline growth across various therapeutic areas. This role requires a deep understanding of both HCP and DTC / Patient audiences, as well as the ability to conduct rigorous competitive and market analyses to identify opportunities for brand differentiation. The VP will also be a key client-facing representative, challenging client thinking, and fostering long-term strategic relationships with senior-level brand teams.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in brand strategy and / or brand planning within a pharmaceutical agency, with a proven track record in leading major product launch strategies and managing multiple brands. Expertise in both HCP and DTC marketing strategies for pharmaceuticals is essential, as is experience with market research methodologies, data analysis, and the ability to translate complex scientific and clinical information into marketing strategies. The role demands exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as outstanding communication and presentation abilities. A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required, and the candidate should have strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing, mentoring, and developing a team of strategic professionals.
