Sous Chef Requirements and Qualifications :
An associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in an upscale environment.Strong culinary skills with a passion for creativity and innovation.Proven ability to assist in achieving sales targets and managing financials.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Assist the Executive Chef and / or Executive Sous Chef in overseeing all culinary operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and serviceEnsure the execution of a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes and dietary needs.Collaborate in research and development (R&D) for new food offerings and seasonal menu updates that align with our financial goals and culinary visionMaintain equipment in proper working condition and coordinate repairs when necessary.Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety across the back of house
