Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatrician to join our healthcare team. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various pediatric conditions, promoting health and wellness, and collaborating with families to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of pediatric patients to evaluate their health status.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric illnesses, injuries, and developmental issues.
- Develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient, including preventive health measures and immunizations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, and gastroenterology, to provide coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, nutrition, and lifestyle choices that promote long-term wellness.
- Provide support for acute care situations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including emergency medicine when necessary.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving pediatric healthcare practices.
- Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with a specialization in Pediatrics.
- Board certification in Pediatrics is preferer; additional certifications in subspecialties such as Pediatric Cardiology or Pediatric Critical Care are advantageous.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with medical imaging technologies relevant to pediatric care.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex cases involving critical care, trauma medicine, or neonatal care is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding practices (CPT / ICD), and adherence to NCQA standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
