About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) with a strong background in drug development, particularly in the areas of oncology and antibody therapeutics. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing the strategic scientific roadmap, leading R&D preclinical efforts, and establishing program milestones in alignment with the company's portfolio strategy. This role requires a proven track record in both pharmaceutical and biotech settings, with a focus on the full cycle of drug development from discovery to marketing approval. The CSO will also be responsible for engaging in scientific partnerships, overseeing the R&D team's activities, and contributing to the evaluation of the intellectual property landscape.

Applicants for the CSO position at the company must hold a Ph.D. or M.D. / Ph.D. in cancer biology or a related field, with at least 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including a significant tenure in immune-oncology full-cycle drug development. The ideal candidate will have a background in oncology and experience with biologics such as monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, and antibody-drug conjugates. Essential skills include scientific expertise in oncology, immunology, tumor biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology, as well as a strong ability to communicate complex scientific concepts. The role also demands effective leadership, the ability to work with senior management, and a proven track record in establishing industry partnerships.
