Job descriptionReview project plans, specifications to develop accurate estimates for Insulation work. Perform detailed quantity take-offs and create comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure estimates meet project requirements and expectations. Provide value engineering and alternative material recommendations to improve cost-effectiveness. Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and cost reports for project submission. Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and best practices. Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating. Strong understanding of insulation materials and installation techniques. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift or similar tools). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver quality estimates on time.
