Your role as a Asst. Meat Department Manager - Full Time

As a Full-Time Asst. Meat Department Manager at Brookhaven Market, you'll perform a range of butchering tasks including cutting, grinding, trimming, and portioning various meats such as beef, pork, poultry, lamb, and seafood. Your role will be vital in ensuring that all meat products meet our high-quality standards and are tailored to customer specifications. You'll maintain proper inventory levels, assist with receiving and stocking deliveries, and safely operate and maintain meat-cutting equipment while adhering to health and safety regulations. Outstanding customer service is key, as you'll answer questions, offer recommendations, and fulfill special orders.

Moreover, you'll ensure correct labeling and proper temperature storage of all products while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the meat department. • Ability to walk and stand the duration of shift and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on product quality and presentation.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.
