Position Details :

Setting : Long-Term Care (LTC)

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Shift : Monday–Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM | 40 hours / week

Start Date : Flexible

Pay : Competitive weekly pay + travel stipends + potential for extension

Job Responsibilities :

Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery

Support residents in improving mobility, strength, and functional independence

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a long-term care setting

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and state guidelines

Qualifications :

Education : Associate’s Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Certification : Active PTA license in South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain)

Experience : Prior LTC or geriatric experience preferred but not required

Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) required
