Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement a secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to determine infrastructure and deployment needs.
- Provision, configure, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code approaches.
- Ensure compliance and configuration management through effective tools.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems efficiently.
- Resolve issues across a diverse range of services and functional areas.
- Create and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems.
- Conduct cost analysis and optimization for infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications :
At least 5 years of experience building and managing AWS infrastructure or 3 years with a Master’s degree.Demonstrated expertise in deploying and managing infrastructure.Strong understanding of networking principles and Linux system administration.Prior experience with Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Ansible.Proven ability to learn and leverage a variety of open-source technologies and tools.Experience with software testing frameworks such as PyTest, GoogleTest, Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright.Strong sense of ownership and proactive approach to tasks.Preferred Skills and Experience :
Ability to write reliable code and automation scripts in Python or similar languages.Deep understanding of securing AWS environments and meeting compliance requirements.AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is a plus.ITAR Requirements :

In accordance with the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range for compensation for roles. Actual salaries can vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and specific location. For California, the starting pay range for this role is : $163,300 - $187,000 USD.
