JOB PURPOSE
The Warehouse Operations Lead is responsible for the daily coordination of warehouse operations, inventory control, volunteer engagement, and program support. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of goods through the warehouse, supports organizational events and distributions, and upholds the quality and safety standards of The Just One Project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations
- Lead daily receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing, and distributing activities.
- Ensure proper inventory tracking, organization, labeling, rotation, and storage of goods.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Safely operate and monitor warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Coordinate space utilization and storage planning.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
Program & Event Support
Coordinate logistics and provide onsite support for organizational programs, mobile distributions, and special events.Prepare, stage, and distribute program-specific food and product items.Support client services by ensuring timely and accurate distribution of program resources.Volunteer Engagement
Provide direction, training, and oversight to volunteers during warehouse activities and program events.Partner with Volunteer Coordinators to ensure effective volunteer scheduling, onboarding, and safety compliance.Administrative & Compliance
Maintain accurate inventory, program, and operational records.Perform data entry, reporting, and basic administrative duties as assigned.Support scheduling, recordkeeping, and communication-related to warehouse and program operations.Ensure compliance with organizational safety standards, food safety regulations, and operational policies.Other

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or a related field (required)2+ year of Non- Profit Experience (preferred)Forklift Certification (required)OSHA Safety Certification preferred (required)Experience with vulnerable populations, grant reporting, and program support preferredFamiliarity with inventory systems, Microsoft Office, HMIS, Salesforce, and Google Workspace (preferred)Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
