Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our faculty as an

Adjunct this role you will prepare the next generation of veterinary technicians through expert instruction mentorship and hands-on training. This position reports directly to the Program Chair Academic Dean

Director of Academic Operations for Online or Campus President.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lecture laboratory and clinical instruction following established

curriculum

Develop and maintain comprehensive lesson plans and evaluation methods

Monitor student attendance participation and academic progress

Provide timely feedback on assignments (within 48 hours of submission)

Offer educational assistance during scheduled office hours or by appointment

Identify and support at-risk students through retention initiatives

Maintain professional expertise through continuing education and development

Participate in required faculty meetings and professional development

Collaborate with program leadership on curriculum improvements and student

success

Position Details

Teaching assignments are offered on a module-by-module basis

Courses subject to minimum enrollment requirements

Instructors are responsible for meeting all scheduled classes as published

Performance evaluated through student feedback and administrative review

Grades must be submitted within 72 hours after final exams

Requirements

Qualifications

Associate degree (required)

Minimum 4 years of verifiable experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician

(required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to student success and educational excellence

Ability to create engaging learning experiences in classroom and laboratory settings

Professional appearance and demeanor

Experience with online learning platforms (preferred for online instruction

Compensation & Schedule

Pay by course and / or credit hour

Compensation based on experience knowledge and education level

Part-time schedule Monday to Friday

Flexible teaching assignments based on mutual agreement
