MUST HAVE Venipuncture EXP

Duties :

Worker will be performing venipuncture and / or capillary draws (CPT I) to include Arterial draws if a CPT II; answering phones; ordering testing; checking in patients; placing blood tubes into centrifuge; process / send out testing for Shared Lab and Quest; stocking carts and notifying manager when stock items are low; ability to collect blood using vacutainer, butterfly and syringe; able to use sterile technique to collect blood cultures; logging pathology specimens; scanning in final reports into the EHR (EPIC); microbiology plating of positive blood cultures; set up of urine cultures
