Job description

Physical Therapist Assistant Role $2,000 per week

About the Role

We're seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a PACE program dedicated to helping older adults maintain independence and quality of life. You'll work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy services in the PACE center and participants' homes.
  • Carry out treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and safety.
  • Assist with gait training, balance, and fall-prevention programs.
  • Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team.
  • Educate participants and caregivers on home exercise and safe mobility.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
  • Current state PTA license.
  • Experience with older adults preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
