Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Roots Rehab is a pediatric occupational therapy clinic that believes in nurturing the whole child by supporting their sensory, emotional, and developmental needs through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of the children we serve.

• Core Responsibilities :
• Deliver high-quality, client-centered OT treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans using play-based, sensory-integrative, and developmentally appropriate approaches.
• Provide services in a variety of settings including clinic, home, and community environments when applicable.
• Support children in developing skills related to self-regulation, sensory processing, fine / gross motor coordination, executive functioning, and activities of daily living.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions and collaboration on progress notes in accordance with clinic standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervising OT, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and support family-centered goals.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by participating in team meetings, continuing education opportunities, and clinic-wide initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and engaging therapy space that reflects our values of creativity, respect, and inclusion.
• Preferred Experience and Qualifications :
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a COTA in the state of Montana.
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• 1+ years of pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of sensory integration, child development, and therapeutic use of play.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for working with children and families.

Pay : From $55,000.00 per year

Expected hours : 20 40 per week
